The grid below shows the shape of the week, not yet its content. Speakers and titles will be filled in as the call for talks closes, and the times may still move.

The workshop runs from Monday 14 to Friday 18 December 2026 in the IRMA conference room in Strasbourg.

Mornings are for talks, afternoons for discussion. Each morning holds three talks; the afternoons are given over to working sessions in which participants form small groups around the topic that concerns them. There are no parallel sessions in the morning.

Talk Discussion Workshop event

Talks

Fifteen slots of forty-five minutes are available over the week, which is close to the size of the consortium: everyone who wishes to speak will be able to. Talks are held in a single room and are meant to be accessible to the whole group rather than to specialists of one work package — the point of the week is that the four national teams understand one another’s work.

Proposals go through the call for talks. Speakers and titles will appear on this page as they are confirmed.

Discussions

The afternoons follow the five work packages of the project, from the design of the methods to their applications in biomechanics — they are set out on the project page.

No topic belongs to a single institution: each is taken up by researchers from several of them, and the working groups form on the spot according to who wants to work on what. Rooms are available for groups that want to split off.

The Friday afternoon is set aside for the consortium itself: the collaborations to pursue, the students to co-supervise, the articles to submit, and the organisation of the 2027 workshop in Montevideo.

Practical notes

Coffee breaks and lunches are on site. The workshop dinner on Thursday evening is covered for all registered participants.

The Wednesday afternoon is given to a social activity, in place of the working sessions. It will be announced here once it is settled.
